Back at it

It’s been a crazy, intense Spring around here, and I’m finally picking up blogging again.

First off, Love & Victory has been doing gangbusters. We had a hell of a Mother’s Day 2011, and 2012 was more than twice as busy. So, so awesome and rewarding.

In addition to that I’ve been working like a madwoman, doing a lot of design work. Launched new sites for No. 7 Sub and 67Burger, and created 21 page menu books for the amazing, new Weather Up location in Austin.

Willy hanging out the window while we renovated the upstairs floor.

We should have left the gardening the Louella.

And in other news, we moved in June, to a wonderful, old brick building from 1901, in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. From start to finish, it’s been stressful and nerve-wracking, selling and buying at the same time, but thankfully, it’s wonderful and completely worth it. It’s a 2-family house (our pals are living upstairs with their daughter) with an English basement where I have workspace. Woot! And Louella’s enjoying the backyard for sure. So are we – minus the discovery of our seriously black thumbs. We’re sticking with it.

Looking forward to being back in the swing of things!
