Dudes: Don’t get stuck without an awesome Mother’s Day gift for your honey or your Mama.

Moms: Let him know what you want. Cause a hug and a kiss is nice and all, but… Mama deserves a little something, no?

April 18 deadline for Custom Silhouette Charms is fast approaching, but there’s still plenty of time for other L&V goodness. How about…

A Mother Decanter Set filled with bourbon ($78)?

Paper Silhouettes of your kiddos?

ring with your baby’s name and birthdate?

Wouldn’t these Ferm Living wallpapers look amazing in a nursery? Super sweet and not too babyish.

I didn’t get too into decorating Lou’s room before she was born. I frankly found the idea of “doing the nursery” kind of cheesy. Now that she’s here, though, I quite like hanging special things in there, making curtains, etc. Time to wallpaper?

Aren’t these watercolors so pretty? They make me want to paint which I don’t do often enough.

Loving this new tumblr by one of my fave bloggers, Miss Moss, called Wearing the Pants. Just some gals, looking seriously style-y and comfortable.

This section of the Louise Fili site is pretty inspiring… redesigned logos that maintain the originals’ integrity. Beautiful work.

Seriously? Scan this woman head-to-toe. Classy, sleek, stylish, pretty, what?!!? Those shoes are in-SANE!!! Not good insane. Like — You have a dead animal on your feet insane. I’m all for fashion, but damn, girl, those shoes are just hideous. Thank you for getting a pedicure, though.

How have I never seen this site before? The clothes are right on and completely affordable and not ridiculously young.

And I kinda can’t believe I’m posting this, but after a recent conversation about male models not being attractive, well, here’s one who I can certainly say I think is… That’s right. don’t say I never gave you a little eye candy. I stumbled upon the site cause I was looking for these sweet Birdwell Britches swim trunks for my husband.

Wow. This Tropezienne bag by L.A. designer Clare Vivier may well be the perfect bag. It also comes with a longer handle drop that you can put over your shoulder. They’re simple but interesting. And timeless. And, at $320, sort-of affordable in the world of leather bags. LOVE.

I thought I’d share a few photos from Grub Street of my friend Justin’s new bar / music venue on Manhattan Ave in Greenpoint, designed by my pal, Matt Maddy. I lived a few blocks from there for my first 5 years in New York, and man, would I have loved if this place was in existence.

The interior has Matt’s signature rough hewn paired with high-polish aesthetic. The raddest part is the exterior: he painted the cinder block exterior black and the entrance is a black fire door. Rockin.

Like most mothers I know, I can’t resist a little nip post-bedtime. Who am I kidding? Sometimes it’s before bedtime. So I thought the best Mother’s Day gift would be a decanter all of Mama’s own…

Voila! Our new Mother Decanter Set. Pre-order for Mother’s Day. $78.
